States not included yet
- South Dakota: No statewide survey in about two decades. SDSU Extension is collecting a new survey; results expected fall 2026.
- Michigan: The MSU 2026 Custom Work Rates report (Dec 2025) is a cost-based estimate built from a machinery-cost model, not a survey of rates charged. Not mixed in with survey data; could be added later as a clearly-labeled “cost estimate”.
